Worldwide Emergency Assistance

Imagine: You’ve been robbed. You have the “flu” and still not quite 100%. Now you have no money and no one understands English. You are suddenly really homesick. You know you have insurance and dial the reverse charge or toll free number.

This is not an uncommon scenario. Our services are targeted at finding a solution. Not everyone who calls will require financial assistance. Some will require referral to a doctor or embassy, others require emotional support and reassurance. Some may require their medical condition to be monitored overseas and some customers just need someone to listen. Customer Care frequently co-ordinates the transfer of customers by aeromedical evacuation to return the customer home or to a more appropriate medical facility when deemed medically necessary. Plans can be activated immediately with excellent results. Your safety is our main concern. The extent of the service provided is dependent on the needs of our customer.

Customer Care also provides a 24-hour interpreter service catering for over 100 languages. Complimenting this service are our Customer Care staff who between them fluently speak the most common languages including Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, French, German and Indonesian.

Cost containment remains an integral component of Customer Care’s comprehensive medical assistance services. As such we have a department dedicated to cost containment.

The above services can also be provided to customers in the absence of a valid insurance policy.
