An exciting opportunity exists to join our team of medical evacuation consultants, nursing staff and assistance coordinators, to manage the treatment and repatriation of ill/injured travellers. We are looking for a doctor to:
* be involved in providing advice to our nursing staff
* to liaise with overseas doctors on patient management
* to liaise with medical specialists and insurance underwriters.
Acute Care Medical Specialists - Part Time
* Do you want to use your medical skills in a challenging and dynamic environment?
* Are you a specialist in Intensive Care/Emergency Medicine?
* Have you been involved in aeromedical retrieval work?
* Have you travelled extensively?
* Are you familiar with third world medical challenges/needs?
An exciting opportunity exists to join our team of medical evacuation consultants to:
* Provide a telephone consultation service
* Provide advice on the medical management of our ill/injured travellers worldwide
* Provide recommendations for aeromedical retrievals
You will need to be available for approximately 3 hrs per day (in your home or office), usually at a mutually agreeable time. You will be rotating on call for approximately one week each month.
An opportunity may exist to be the doctor escort on some aeromedical retrievals.

Assistance Co-ordinators
You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be highly organised, have an outgoing personality, team player attributes, and a professional attitude. You are good at prioritising, work well in a team as well as independently and have an eye for detail.
We are looking for exceptional staff that thrive on hard work and continual challenges.
The Assistance Co-ordinator is the front line call operator, taking all incoming
calls, and managing simple “one shot” calls in their entirety.
The successful Assistance Coordinator will have experience in a busy call
centre environment, be looking for full time hours and are happy to work a
flexible, rotating roster, over 7 day period.
Case Managers
You will hold a tertiary qualification or extensive experience in the business
or travel industry, be looking for full time hours and are happy to work a
flexible, 24 hour rotating roster, which does include weekends and night duty..
The successful applicant will initially commence in the department as Assistance
Co-ordinator and will progress to Case Manager role once they have attained
the necessary experience and skills to do so.
It is our policy to employ on a casual basis in the first instance. All casual staff have the opportunity to apply for a permanent position as they become available.
Salary is in accordance with Clerical and Administrative Employees (State) Award, and is commensurate to experience.

Registered Nurses
Are you looking to escape from the hospital system? Customer Care offers a challenging, interesting and dynamic opportunity for Registered Nurses who fit the following criteria:
Essential Criteria:
* Must have current registration with the NSW Nurses Registration Board
* Must have at least 5 years post graduate nursing experience
* Must have at least 12 months experience or hold a qualification in Intensive Care, A & E or similar acute care field
* Must be computer literate ie. typing speed > 30 words per minute and
familiarity with windows based software
* Must have the ability to multi task and function well in a team environment
* Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Desirable Criteria:
* Tertiary qualification in acute care specialty
* Flight Nursing / Aviation Certificate
* Previous experience within the assistance / travel insurance industry
* Extensive overseas travel experience
* Second language, other than English
* Previous call centre experience
You must be willing to work a flexible 24-hour rotating roster, including nights and weekends. Salary is in accordance with the Nurses Other Than In Hospitals, & c. (State) Award and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
